Howdy, Australia, It’s been a Decade Between Posts…

This blog was set up some ten years ago when I did a national tour of Australia as a Flexible Learning Leader (see the details) (a new version needs to be written for 2017).

Another invitation has come and it’s so close to exactly being 10 years that it’s almost eerie. That photo of me happened in the Adelaide leg. I’ve likely aged.

This visit is via the International Specialised Skills Institute based in Victoria, so it’s not a national tour but the two week speaking schedule is as intense with workshops and presentations being arranged now with TAFES, higher education institutions, and a few industry groups. Details should be forthcoming rather soo, especially since it starts in about a month.

But as part of this return, I wanted to re-activate this blog, and dress it up with a more modern design. Until a few minutes ago it was so 2007:

Like before I will do my journaling here. Most of materials will hang from my own domain, with a directory created to fit the personality here–

It’s rather interesting to comb through the planning wiki I created in 2007. That experience spawned the 50+ Web Ways to Tell a Story  a wave I rode a long time. It still gets regular visitors,

Mostly, this post is just to say, “Howdy… it’s been a long time. I think I should be blogging”
